At the cross, Jesus suffered rejection from His Father and mankind so that in Him we would have favor with God and with people. Notice the Holy Spirit chose ‘people’ and not ‘everyone’. That’s so important for us and our children to know in a world that is so quick to cast down and cast out based on what’s superficial and temporal. God’s favor leads you to the people who will reinforce His complete acceptance of you. We are free to ignore words to the contrary. AMEN!
