Re-gifting Grace

The other day I heard a pastor say, ” God gives grace out of His goodness, not in response to mine or yours.  We have nothing and can do nothing to merit it.”  It occurred to me that when we extend grace, we only do so out the grace we first received from the Lord; since we have no goodness of our own from which to give grace in and of ourselves.  The world may frown upon re-gifting, in some circles, but in Christ it is a way of life (laugh)!  Romans 7:18, Matthew 10:8
