An unwelcome pattern has emerged since we started school 4 weeks ago, intense spiritual warfare, on the first school day of each week. I honestly don’t even recognize my children on those days. The warfare wanes each day throughout the week. Three weeks ago, the Holy Spirit told me to take Communion with the children more regularly, on the first day of every school week. It’s no surprise then that the warfare intensity has escalated over the past three weeks and ventured outside of homeschool! Today has been a doozy! This is what I do know, it is written:
I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Ps 27:13, NIV
For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. Ps 5:12, NIV
O LORD, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me! Many are saying of me, “God will not deliver him.” “Selah” But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head. Ps 3:1-3, NIV
A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all…Ps 34:19 NIV
“…no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD. Is 54:17 NIV
The LORD will keep you from all harm– he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. Ps 121:7-8 NIV
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? Romans 8:35 NIV
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Ephesians 6:12-13 NIV
