What’s Going On?

Okay.  If you keep up with my blog, you’ve noticed a significant drop off in my posting.  There are many reasons for it and I wanted to keep my cozy [;-)] following in the loop…

  1. Writing the book.  This book has become a priority, since its completion requires momentum!  I know myself well enough to know getting it done, and well, will require a more singular focus.  That just doesn’t leave enough time to do both, considering the amount of time I put into my posts.  The amount of it took me to craft this one is nuts; that blasted attention to detail, I just can’t shake it 😉   I look forward to my posting picking back up once I finish the book!
  2. Possible change in blog direction/focus. I have loved using my blog as a personal online journal, and I’m honored by those of you who have followed me on this journey.  I’m considering broadening or changing the scope altogether, because blog traffic has come to a stand…still, it doesn’t seem an encouragement to many, and I may have another use for it. TBD!
  3. Entered a new season. With my husband’s retirement after 20 years in the military, we are finally settling down and establishing roots.  New state, in a part of the country we’ve never lived in before.  I can’t tell you how exciting that is! We literally just moved.  Moving is an adventure in itself, and requires great finesse on the part of this wife and mother!  Lord, help us acclimate to our new surroundings.  With the move also comes a change in our schooling.  Our season of homeschooling has come to an end. The boys will go back to public school and our daughter will enter public school as a first grader.    Even though we don’t have the grace for homeschool anymore, I will always be actively involved in my children’s education.  Transition to public school will require as much time as the transition to homeschooling, and, thankfully, I’ll be home to facilitate that.  Nothing like a praying, involved mama!

Needless to say, this summer will be jam-packed with change.  If you’ve read enough of my posts, you know change typically makes me want to vomit in my mouth (yes, I said that). Thankfully the Lord is shepherding us through it all.  Hope you continue to hang in there with me as I continue to walk in faith!
