He ignored the wise counsel of his parents, the ones whom God told Samson’s purpose and destiny. Not only did this judge of Israel lose his vision (both spiritual and natural), foolish pride cut his life short (see Judges 13-16).
Thank God, He gave Jesus the right to save us from ourselves — IF we so choose!
