…And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains
and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but
the Lord was not in the wind;
and after the wind an earthquake, but
the Lord was not in the earthquake;
and after the earthquake a fire, but
the Lord was not in the fire;
and after the fire
a still small voice.
1 Kings 19:11-12
I LOVE my birthday month, December. It’s a time of celebration and reflection, as well as, anticipation for the year to come. I process the outgoing year and receive vision for the new. But it’s such a busy season too, that’s become quite loud.
Have you noticed…
I’d describe this year as “profoundly transformational.” Jesus helped this very private girl publish a revealing book (whew!) and start an online business (who is this girl?). And yet, this is just the beginning, so I’ve pulled away to hear…
the still small voice.
Isn’t it amazing that our great and powerful God reveals Himself through intimacy rather than the roar?
PLEASE NOTE: If you’re planning to bless a “girl” of any age with the perfect Christmas gift from my shop, please place your order by December 16th (for standard shipping)!
Grace and peace,
Vanessa
