In Due Time

There’s a rhythm to life in the Caribbean: slow and easy. Sure, there’s a schedule, but it’s subject to going with the flow. There’s always the sense that what doesn’t get done today, can wait for another time. No matter your high-strung tendencies, when you hit Caribbean soil, you join that rhythm.

That rhythm isn’t just the rhythm of the islands, it’s the rhythm of the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God accomplishes much, just look at Jesus’ ministry on earth. Any and everything needed of Him got done, including the miraculous, but without stress or urgency. Lazarus can tell you about that (John 11:4-6,17)!

On earth, Jesus submitted Himself to the same Holy Spirit He sent to lead and guide you. The Spirit knows the desires of God’s heart for you, your days already written in His book (Psalm 139:16). When you follow His lead, as opposed to what “they say,” you can’t help but be in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing.

“Yeah mon?”
