You more than matter, you’re precious to God.
So much so He’s engraved you, believer, in the palms of His hands. Not written, where it can be erased, but engraved.
Engraving is permanent.
Does God the Father have actual hands? No, but He uses a physical attribute we can relate to, to make it clear that when He goes to do something, He’s always mindful of you. He can’t help but see you.
It’s impossible for Him to forget you.
He will never stop caring about you and for you. You’re so precious to Him, He uses imagery that makes clear He’d never forget you. You are close, because He’s drawn you so very near (Jeremiah 31:3) through the cross of Christ.
You cannot be forgotten!
Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Isaiah 49:15-16
Hi Vanessa! I love your definition of God when saying “God has no physical hands; He uses imaginary to make things clear.” Keep up the good work!

Hi Lionel! Just like His Father, Jesus did the same thing here on earth. He always connected with us on our level, starting with coming in the form of a man.
Thanks for starting the conversation on this! Grace and peace…Vanessa
