Is This Thing On?

Sometimes prayer seems like talking into a mike that’s not working, especially when you’ve prayed about an obstacle a long time.

Don’t stop praying. Dare to keep coming against that obstacle and others.

Jesus said, “If you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done (Matthew 21:21).”

I’ve found that just when I think nothing is happening on one front, Jesus gives me quick victory on another, of equal magnitude. Seeing that mountain move in response to prayer, encourages me to keep coming against the more stubborn mountain. It may look like nothing’s happening, but God is working. It’s only a matter of time before it moves too!
