Twelve women, of different ethnic groups and cultural backgrounds, gathered together in a lovely home for the sole purpose of sharing what God called us to do and cheering each other on. No pretense, no rivalry, just genuine support as we talked about our passions as writers and speakers. Sounds to good to be true?

There was a time I would have said so because women can be—tricky.

But despite the current cultural climate in America, there we stood in a circle, with Jesus in the center. His love, palpable.

I’m grateful…

Jesus blessed me with this mastermind group of women who encourage me not only as a woman, but as an author, speaker, and designer. Something amazing happens when DADDY’s Girls function as cheerleaders, instead of rivals. And it’s glorious.
