Worrying about everything, won’t change anything. Let’s take it to Jesus…
DADDY God, we need You and we thank You Jesus is the way who makes coming to You possible.
We have so many concerns and the number of them overwhelms us. Will our marriages survive the seasons of life? Are we raising our children well? Will our jobs last? Are we doing enough? Are we doing “it” right?
And all these worries wear us down and You want to comfort us. Help us take Jesus up on His offer. To toss Him everything weighing us down and rest in Your promises and His perfect work on the cross.
By Your Spirit, help us hold on to the peace Jesus left with us, confident You’ve worked out everything that concerns us. We thank you for the joy in knowing we don’t fend for ourselves. We have a Father who sees and knows and looks after us.
We praise You for being a good, good Father. Be glorified in the lives of your children. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
