Lean on LOVE

12 DISCIPLES
3 of them in His inner circle
—only 1 who leaned on His bosom (the place of the heart, the seat of Jesus’ love).

John saw Jesus’ miracles, signs and wonders, but instead of just standing in awe, he drew near to the Lord.  He leaned on the love beneath it all. John called himself the disciple whom Jesus loved (John 13:23) because he knew Jesus came—in love; called John to follow Him—in love; healed and delivered the oppressed—in love; was even judged on a cross, in our place—in love.

John leaned on that love, the greatest miracle, sign, and wonder. He cherished it and counted on it. And so should we today.

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10, NIV

My book is available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

Encourages women to move past the limits of their relationships with their fathers to find identity, acceptance, and unconditional love in the ultimate DADDY-daughter relationship with God.

She’s Finally Here and She’s Beautiful!

No she’s not a baby.  Well, not in the literal sense, but I certainly feel like I birthed one!

I’d like you to meet my new book…
HarrisKindleI’m so excited she’s here!  This is not the book I set out to write way back in October 2014, but it’s the book God wanted to write through me, to me.  And ultimately to every woman who could relate.

He wanted me, and all women, to know being a daddy’s girl isn’t a concept for a select few girls/women who happen to have that dynamic with their fathers.  Any woman can be DADDY’s Girl when she enters into relationship with God the Father or DADDY God through Christ, His Son.  It’s a position that knows no age limit, enjoyed forever.

This one was tough to write until I tasted the freedom that grew with every page.  I’m such a private person, it’s a wonder I let these words exist outside my mind much less saw it through to publishing!  But at the end of the day, this book, is bigger than me.  It’s about my DADDY God, His love for His daughters, and the lengths He wants us to enjoy it.

The book is available in paperback on Amazon and on Kindle.  See the homepage sidebar for a link.  Regardless of your relationship with your father, there’s nothing like being a DADDY’s Girl.  Get it for yourself and “girls” teen aged and up who find intimacy with DADDY God challenging.

I’m in the process of developing a study guide to accompany it.  If you would like to stay in the know, sign up for my newsletter, The Grapevine (details in the sidebar).  Thank you so much for all of your support of my blog and this project.

I’m leaping forward this year and I’m glad you’re a part of it!

With love,
Vanessa
