Today, I’m reminded again of my limitations as a parent.
You teach them, you train them trusting Jesus gives your words enough weight to sink into your children’s hearts. The wait is awful, but at least I’m not responsible for the outcome.
I’m grateful…
“Train up a child in the way he should go” means I point him in the right direction, using bumper rails for reinforcement. But it doesn’t mean I get him there.
That’s a Jesus job. He always has the tougher assignment. And I thank God!
