WHY are we obsessed with depending on ourselves and those down around us?
WHY do we forget to look up?

WHY do we crave people’s acceptance?
WHY do we forget we’ve been hand-picked, accepted in the Beloved?

WHY do we envy what others have?
WHY don’t we remember who cares for us?
The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. Psalm 23:1, NIV
WHY do we compare ourselves to each other?
WHY don’t we remember we are wonderfully unique?
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10, NLT
WHY do we care about people’s opinions?
WHY don’t we remember God’s thoughts about us?
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
WHY do we fret about those who don’t love us?
WHY don’t we remember the measure of God’s love for us? For God SO loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16, emphasis mine
WHY is it so hard to remember the CROSS, the answer to all our questions?
All I can say is, “All glory to Jesus! Our forgetfulness never stops God’s faithfulness to His people!”
