Glorious Grace

Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him.  Psalm 32:10

For unbelievers, or those who haven’t received Jesus Christ as Savior, it’s no wonder if they constantly find themselves in a pickle.  They only have their counsel or the counsel of other people to go by.  But look what the believer, who trusts in the Lord and His counsel, has: the promise we are surrounded by His mercy!  This word mercy is the Hebrew word checed (kheh’-sed) whose meaning includes lovingkindness and favor—in short, GRACE.

When you trust the Lord’s heart by following His instruction and understanding, You’re surrounded with His favor and supply.

You have a grace to do as He leads and favor with whomever you need.  You also enjoy His protection, His favor providing a shield for you (Psalm 5:12).  It’s the exact opposite of the multiplied sorrows of the unbeliever.

A prayer:
DADDY God, I thank You for your grace!  I don’t have to be perfect, just yielded to You.  Your grace abundantly supplies me with everything I need.  You surround me with Your goodness and I praise you in Jesus’ name, Amen.
