If you’re a mother or a single woman with a servant heart like our friend, Martha, you know what it’s like to have a million irons in the fire, so much going on that you can’t give your attention to one thing—or one person.
There’s too much to do and too little time. That’s what you tell yourself, but what if the actual issue is connection is awkward? Maybe not with everyone, but with the ones you need to connect with most.
Mmm…this is so good & definitely gave me a pause. I had to pause and reflect for a minute because my love language is serving others (I’m guessing it may have been Martha’s too). But sometimes I get so busy DO-ing stuff for my family that I forget to stop, sit down, look them in the eye and listen to their stories. I sometimes struggle with connecting emotionally & so much of it does stem from past hurts in my own childhood. Thanks for this fresh look at Martha and Mary & challenging us to think about how we connect (or don’t) with those we love.

Sounds like we’re cut from the same cloth Tara💜 So glad the “pause” served YOU😉 It’s my pleasure.
